June 2010Welcome back summer herders! It looks like its going to be a hot one this summer! So i'm going to try something different so we don't stress the sheep, and the dogs, and ME! .... We will herd in the morning and evening only - and i'll retreat to the house and cool off in the afternoons, and then we'll start again in late afternoon. Hopefully we'll miss the heat of the day. I will also be scheduling appointments only a couple of weeks in advance - so we can see if the weather will cooperate. Remember, if the heat index is going to be over 100 degrees, then its too hot to herd. So call if you are unsure if you should come out. (765-427-7009) |
